NEWLIFE Church is starting a new ministry called Caring for Caregivers. This ministry is dedicated to supporting those who faithfully care for others. Whether caring for an aging parent, a loved one with health challenges or special needs, or if you are a parent with a deployed spouse, caregivers often carry a heavy load and can feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or isolated.
They are seeking compassionate volunteers who want to be the hands and feet of Jesus by providing practical support and encouragement. Opportunities to serve include respite care, friendly home visits, simple household chores, light yard work such as grass cutting, running errands, and offering a listening ear.
They want to remind caregivers that they are not alone. Through acts of kindness, prayer, and practical assistance, we hope to bring relief, encouragement, and hope to those who spend so much of their time caring for others.
They have an interest meeting on July 12th at 1:30 PM. If you have a heart for serving and encouraging others, we’d love for you to join the Caring for Caregivers team and help make a difference in the lives of local families.
