Our Mission

God will make a way when there seems to be no way.

Here at Kneeling Point, we encourage folks to take the weekly Message from the seats to the streets and into the lives of family, community and workplace. Through this we live out the Great commandment found in John 15:13-15.

"13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you."

We also provide several ways for the people at Kneeling Point to do practical things to make that shift from seats to the streets. Some of the main ways are listed below.

Southern Crossing

This is a transitional supportive housing program that will assist persons with transitioning from homelessness to semi-permanent housing.  This project is located at the former Shine Inn/White House Motel in Newburg, MD.  Volunteer work is being done now to help transform this motel into the affordable housing for the working poor.

Operation Christmas Child demonstrates God’s love to children in need worldwide by delivering gift-filled shoeboxes and the good news of Jesus Christ!
